Since I couldn't find information on how to care for unvarnished wooden chopsticks, I have to decided to provide my tips.
1. Store them in a jar, point up. Firstly a jar will keep them in open air, and stop them from getting damp. Keeping them point up will insure that the ends don't get mushed, and secondly any moisture that collects in the bottom won't make them mouldy.
2. Throw a couple of those silicone gell packets in the bottom of the jar. It'll help keep them dry, and stop you from trying to get the contents of the packets. 'Cause that would be bad.
3. Oh no! The ends are mushy! Use a wire ball thing and give them a good scrub. It is not a good idea to use a knife. Leads to splinters.
4. When they start to get black spots, throw them out. You really need to renew your supply of chopsticks every six months or so, especially if you are using them alot.
Hmm, that's all I can think of at the moment. If I come up with anything else, I'll update. You can add any tips you might have in the comments section.
